New trial veg shares for 2024! Join us by signing up to receive a weekly (or fortnightly) veg bag from the market garden in Caxton. See where we are here. Collection will be on Fridays between 3pm and 6pm. The first collection is on Friday 31st May and the last will be in November.

You can now sign up by filling in this google form: https://forms.gle/mqybMvPmxGwB8TWK7. To secure your subscription you will need to pay a deposit for a reusable jute bag (link and more info in form). We’ll contact you to set up a weekly payment ahead of the start date.

Size options:

5 to 6 items (Standard) £12.50

7 to 8 items (Large) £16.50

50g Microgreen mix £3.50

There’s also the option to work in exchange for a veg share. You would need to be available for 2 hours on a Friday to help with harvesting and packing the bags.

What’s in a bag?

Veg bags are likely to contain a salad mix every week along with a selection of seasonal veg. We also grow tomatoes, cucumbers, courgette, kale, rainbow chard, beetroot, fennel, spring onions, squash, garlic and many more delicious vegetables. We also love growing unusual crops like agretti and kohl rabi. And it’s all Organic!

We don’t currently grow potatoes, carrots or brown onions. As this is a trial, with limited admin time, we can’t currently accommodate likes or dislikes.

Signing up is a commitment

As a Community Supported Agriculture scheme, we’re asking you to commit to a full six month season of veg bags. This enables us to plan for and manage the costs of staff, growing and harvest. Customers who subscribe to a CSA model are invited to share in the successes and failures of farming. We will do our best to offer an interesting and varied selection, and will not be offering any choice beyond the size of your share or add-ons like microgreens. We may supplement our produce from other local growers to make up any shortfalls.

If you go on holiday you can choose a friend to collect the bag or it will be donated to a local food bank/community kitchen.

Looking to the future

We hope to offer delivery to our local area (Caxton, Cambourne, Papworth) in the next few years. You can sign up to the mailing list to hear about any developments.
